Dawn graduated Villanova School of Law in 1992 and worked as an Assistant District Attorney in the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office for ten (10) years in the Municipal Court Unit, the Juvenile Court Unit, the Felony Waiver Division and spent most of her time in the Major Trial Division trying felony cases before Judges and Juries. Dawn has tried thousands of bench trials and well over 50 jury trials. Dawn left the DA’s office in 2002 to spend more time with her growing family. At that time, she transitioned into civil litigation, real estate law, criminal defense and general practice. She is currently In House Counsel for Coldwell Banker Hearthside Realtors and Addison Wolfe Real Estate as well as maintains her private practice with Borum, Burke & DiDonato, LLC.

Dawn’s trial background has afforded her the opportunity to experience first hand the good judges, who are fair, impartial and non political, who handled victims, litigants, defendants, witnesses and court staff with fairness for all, firmness when necessary, kindness when needed and most importantly, understood the human dynamic and impact of interpreting and imposing the law upon the people who elected them. Dawn has spent her career being a vehicle for justice and her goal is to make sure justice is served across the board to as many people as she can from the Bench.

Dawn lives in Lower Makefield Township with her husband Tom of 23 years and their three children.
